I have an idea for a big bang theory spin off in which all of the pals were murdered by a mastermind serial killer except for Sheldon. Sheldon then leaves the path of universal knowledge and takes up the mantle of detective in order to catch the murderer responsible for the deaths of his friends. The twist is that somewhere along the way, even though he works alone, he is forced to have a partner. The unlikely partner? Wil Wheaton.
